Starting on 24th July I am going to take 12 days to get to Lands End

  • Day 1 – 25th July:John O’Groats to Altnaharra120km
  • Day 2 – 26th July:Altnaharra to Beauly110km
  • Day 3 – 27th July:Beauly to Glencoe130km
  • Day 4 – 28th July:Glencoe to Carse130km
  • Day 5 – 29th July:Carse to Dalmellington (via Isle of Arran)~90km
  • Day 6 – 30th July:Dalmellington to Carlisle135km
  • Day 7 – 31st July:Carlisle to Preston150km
  • Day 8 – 1st August:Preston to Shrewsbary130km
  • Day 9 – 2nd August:Shrewsbary to Monmouth125km
  • Day 10 – 3rd August:Monmouth to Taunton130km
  • Day 11 – 4th August:Taunton to Liskeard 125km
  • Day 12 – 5th August: Liskeard to Lands End125km

Some Maps

Just as hard as planning the route is finding where to stop and how long to travel each day. Finding places to stay in the Highlands can be hard because the lack of towns, then in the midlands because of the “interesting” and built up places.
